 Supporting World Kidney Day

Empowering patients and caregivers affected by rare kidney diseases

On this World Kidney Day (13 March 2025), Sobi joins the global effort to shine a light on the challenges faced by patients and caregivers living with rare kidney conditions such as C3 Glomerulopathy (C3G) and primary Immune Complex-Mediated Membranoproliferative Glomerulonephritis (IC-MPGN).

What is World Kidney Day?

World Kidney Day is a global initiative led by the International Society of Nephrology (ISN) and the International Federation of Kidney Foundations – World Kidney Alliance (IFKF-WKA).

This annual campaign aims to raise awareness about the importance of kidney health, focusing on prevention, risk factors, living with kidney disease, and promoting kidney health for all. The theme for this year is: Are your kidneys ok?

For the first time, Sobi is honoured to be an official sponsor of World Kidney Day. We are proud to join the global movement to raise awareness about kidney disease and reaffirm our commitment to improving the lives of patients with rare conditions.

Supporting those affected by rare kidney conditions

Rare and complex kidney diseases, such as C3G and primary IC-MPGN, often go undiagnosed for years, leaving patients and their families struggling to find the care and understanding they need. As part of our ongoing commitment to those with rare diseases, Sobi is proud to support initiatives that offer education, resources, and advocacy for these communities.

Together, we can make a difference by increasing awareness, advancing research, and empowering patients and caregivers to navigate their journeys with confidence

Join us in observing World Kidney Day and continuing the conversation about rare kidney diseases. Let’s work together toward a brighter future for everyone affected.
